Activating Business Potential in
Chicago's Southwest Business District
Community Tour
Greater Southwest Development Corporation and the 63rd Street Growth Commission are currently rolling out the first Community Tour for Chicago’s Southwest center. Gather your friends, board our trolley and immerse yourself into Chicago’s hidden treasures. Our experienced tour guides will share secrets and details about the history of our community while you get to see firsthand one of the City’s most beautiful parks, Chicago’s first “green” elementary school and a former state of the art military facility where B-52 bombers used to be built.
A tour of course doesn’t become an ultimate experience until it has some flavor in it as well. This is why we made sure that you get to learn about our local restaurants, their history, their specialties and exquisite cuisine. Ride our old style trolley through 63rd Street and enjoy an international journey of flavors and ethnic dishes. Middle eastern, American, Mexican, Puerto Rican, Belizean, and European paradises are all here to satisfy your menu fantasies and every single one of your taste buds.
If you would like to join our first community tour on Friday, August 27th, please contact Tina James at 773-362-3379 or c.james@greatersouthwest.org.
Reserve your seat today and you will automatically get a free book, a free promotional bag, a free t-shirt and free lunch along with the tour. This is a limited capacity FREE tour so we can only satisfy interested participants at a first come first served basis.
Download the PDFs below and circulate them within your networks and spread the word about this exciting opportunity.
